Hope & Healing Survivor Resource Center represents the unity of two longstanding agencies, the Battered Women’s Shelter, and the Rape Crisis Center, which have now come together under one name to provide comprehensive support throughout Medina and Summit Counties.
Although, we have adopted a unified identity we remain two separate non-profits. The Battered Women’s Shelter name is legally changed to the Hope and Healing Survivor Resource Center and the Rape Crisis Center is doing business as the Hope and Healing Survivor Resource Center. Our goal remains the same—to empower survivors while fostering hope and healing. The agency continues to provide emergency shelter, crisis services, and enhanced support to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
Please join us to commemorate our community’s five decades of supporting survivors.
The remarkable journies of the Rape Crisis Center of Medina & Summit Counties, together with the Battered Women’s Shelter, both separate 501(c)(3) entities operate under the name Hope & Healing, a strong, unified organization that serves survivors of domestic and intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking.
