In-Kind Donations
Making a difference in the lives of survivors.
At Hope & Healing Survivor Resource Center, we believe in the power of community support to bring hope and healing to survivors of trauma in Medina County and Summit County, Ohio.
Your generosity helps us provide essential services and resources to those in need. Thank you!
Amazon Wish List
Our Amazon Wish List is updated weekly and serves as the most accurate reflection of our current clients’ needs. Order items off the list, and they’ll be shipped directly to our shelters for those in need!
Gently Used Items
We are currently accepting like-new and gently used coats, leggings, plain t-shirts, sweatpants, sweatshirts, pajamas, and loungewear for all genders, sizes, and ages.
To help us make the most of your donation, we kindly ask that all items be laundered and in good shape. If possible, we would appreciate donations packed in boxes rather than bags and organized by size. This thoughtful preparation will make it much easier for us to distribute the clothing effectively to those who need it most.
Due to staffing and space constraints, we are unable to accept all donations.
Convenient Drop-Off Locations
Akron Area: Donations can be dropped off at our main location at 940 River St., Akron, OH 44305, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Medina Area: Schedule an appointment for Medina drop-offs by contacting Sarah Krieger at [email protected].
Partnership with The Giving Place
If we are unable to accept your donation, or have space constraints, The Giving Place steps in to receive the items. The profits generated directly contribute to supporting the operating costs of our shelters.
Thank You!
