
On June 29 and 30, 2016, during Men’s Mental Health Month, Hope & Healing Survivor Resource Center partnered with A Call to Men, a national organization helping to create a world where men and boys are loving and respectful, and women, girls, and those at the margins are valued and safe, to present “Shifting the Culture: Boys, Men, and the Manosphere” at The East Akron Neighborhood Development Corporation.
Advocates from all over Northeast Ohio came to discuss their experiences breaking out of the “Man Box” and to learn about the unique challenges facing young men and boys on the internet today.
