Hope & Healing Survivor Resource Center is proud to celebrate the launch of its new Mobile Advocacy Vehicle, made possible through the generous support and investment of the Medina County Commissioners. This milestone represents a shared commitment to expanding access to survivor-centered services by bringing advocacy, resources, and hope directly into communities throughout Medina County, allowing advocates to meet survivors in public locations throughout the region while still providing privacy and confidentiality.
Why a Mobile Advocacy Vehicle?
Every survivor deserves access to safety and support, regardless of where they live, whether they have transportation, or whether it is safe for them to visit an office.
Hope & Healing’s Mobile Advocacy Vehicle removes barriers to care by bringing confidential, trauma-informed advocacy directly into neighborhoods, hospitals, schools, libraries, community centers, and partner agencies throughout the service area.
The vehicle expands access to services while strengthening partnerships with local agencies working to support survivors.
Check out our Channel 19 press coverage of the vehicle here.
The Mobile Advocacy Vehicle is currently available for outreach events throughout the region. Sign up at the link above or email Director of Prevention, Julius Payne, at juliusp@hope-healing.org.
