Join us for a fun-filled fall festival to support the Battered Women’s Shelter
The Battered Women’s Shelter and Allstate Insurance partner together every year for the Purple Purse Challenge. The Allstate Foundation Purple Purse Challenge is an annual friendly fundraising competition in October during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Allstate Foundation Purple Purse is dedicated to breaking the cycle of domestic violence through financial empowerment. Nonprofit organizations serving domestic violence survivors with financial empowerment services around the U.S. participate and compete to raise funds. This year on Sunday September 29th, from 10am-2pm we will be raising awareness and funds for Purple Purse. There will be vendors, food trucks, and music! Bring your family, friends, and well behaved pooches for a Sunday afternoon of supporting a great cause! The address for the festival is 22 S. Case Akron OH 44305. Parking is free, entrance to the festival is free as well!
