Our specially trained hotline advocates empower, support, educate, and provide resources to aid each survivor. Our advocates provide free phone support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We’re here to help, whether you want to learn more about the services we offer or just need someone to talk to we will believe you and support you in every way that we can.
Last year Rape Crisis Center answered 1,516 calls, providing hours of guidance to victims of sexual violence.
Some of the options available to those calling the Hotline include
- Emotional support
- Instruction and education on safety planning
- Help to find nearby therapy resources
- Referrals to Support Groups
- Referrals to community resources
Information and referrals provided by our advocates enable you to make smart, confident choices about your next steps. The Hotline also welcomes calls from professionals working with clients who are victims of domestic violence and need guidance or support on how to provide the best care.
A safety plan is a personalized, practical plan that includes ways to remain safe while in a relationship, planning to leave, or after you leave. Safety planning involves how to cope with emotions, tell friends and family about the abuse, take legal action and more.
